My name is Marcus Luft, and I'm the publisher/writer of the newsletters.

I'm 45 years-old (and clearly love mountain biking).

I currently live in Thunder Bay, but spent just over the first half of my life in the Dundas/Hamilton area.

My goal with creating this newsletter is simple:

Keep people informed and connected with where they live. 

​

This isn't hard-hitting journalism. This is me having fun, putting my own voice into things (humor and sarcasm mostly), and enjoying interacting with readers.

Who knew after almost 22 years of graduating, I'd finally be putting to use whatever rusty writing skills are left from my Journalism degree at Ryerson University!
